Scott Russell, AAS, PPS, RES, is a first-year member of the IAAO Board of Directors. He is also the Property Appraiser for Monroe County, Florida. He received a Bachelor of Science, Real Estate (Florida State University), Fee Appraiser (1991-2007), State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser (1995-2003), State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (2003-present).
His public sector experience includes Monroe County Property Appraiser’s Office (January 2007), promoted to Assistant Property Appraiser (2011), elected as Property Appraiser for Monroe County (2012), and re-elected in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
